The Dangond Giordano Quartet, formed by pianist Antonio Dangond and guitarist Ricky Giordano, is a contemporary jazz ensemble influenced by classical, pop and rock traditions. The group plays original compositions that explore a wide range of musical soundscapes through thoughtful interaction and improvisation. Joined by bass and drums, the quartet showcases technical prowess and lyrical melodies, and the band’s creative spirit is expressed with powerful emotion. DGQ’s creative output is a culmination of five years of work and friendship between Antonio and Ricky, and their music is influenced by life experiences.
DGQ has recently been named the Artist-In-Residence for the Aliso Viejo Library
