NEW ALBUM RELEASE: "THE LONG WAY HOME"

The Long Way Home is RickyG’s second full-length album.  Released in 2026, it’s a record about perspective and what changes with time, and what doesn’t.

​

​The Long Way Home blends new material with selected remixes, alternate takes, and bonus tracks from earlier releases, including RickyG’s 2022 debut "We Still Need Rock & Roll." Together, they form a more complete picture of the project’s musical and personal evolution.

 

Newer music digs deeper into themes that have always been present in RickyG’s work: relationships, identity, missed chances, second starts, and the quiet process of figuring out who you are.

The songs sit in that sweet spot between echoes of classic rock, mixed with the edge and openness of modern indie, and deepened with some country twang. Guitars that feel like they’ve got stories to tell. Hooks that come easy. And lyrics that speak to anyone who’s ever wondered if they waited too long. Or if maybe, just maybe, they’re right on time.
